Leading pan-African digital solutions provider, Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a business of Cassava Technologies, today announces that Group Chief Financial Officer, Lorraine Harper has decided to step down from her role. This follows the successful conclusion of refinancing activities and the close of the most recent financial year. Fayyaz Ansari has been appointed on an interim basis, effective 10th August 2026. Lorraine will remain with the business until the end of September 2026 to ensure a seamless transition.
Group Chief Executive Officer, Hardy Pemhiwa, said:
“Lorraine has made a significant contribution to both the Liquid and Cassava businesses, helping strengthen our financial foundation, supporting key strategic initiatives and building a strong finance organisation. Most recently, she played a critical role in the successful completion of our refinancing programme and the delivery of a strong financial year-end. I thank her for her strong commitment to the Group. I am also pleased to announce that Fayyaz Ansari will assume the role of Interim Group Chief Financial Officer in August. Lorraine will remain with the business during the transition period to ensure a smooth and orderly handover.”
