David is a business solutions and program / project management professional with a wealth of experience in the telecom and banking sector. He has excellent knowledge of the processes and procedures surrounding business and technical project execution, having handled multiple transformation projects where he designs and implements the best technical solutions.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Makerere University with a Cisco Certified Network Associate certificate.Prior to this, he served as the Regional Technology Project Manager – Africa FINCA Africa; Internet & Business Solutions Service – France Telecom – Group (Orange Uganda & Kenya); Telecommunication Solutions & Pre-sale Engineer – France Telecom Group; Transmission/IP Engineer – Alcatel-Lucent EMEA Region; and Systems Administrator – Alcatel-Lucent Uganda. He has developed and implemented projects such as Core Banking & Major systems migration to the cloud – Amazon Webservices where he implemented a cloud based financial system hosted in AWS and mobile banking platforms.
